From the day we are born to our very last breath
from a bright sunny morn till the darkness of death,
With a flurry we scurry to all sorts of places.
We hurry and worry and run lots of races.
Time tends to fly by as we go to and fro,
Our bills are sky high; there’s not enough dough.
But then we remember the good with the bad
We give Thanks in November for the blessings we’ve had.
We reflect on our past recalling fond memories,
We were once young and fast, still writing life’s stories.
Take time to slow down and enjoy all your days
Learn to turn off your frown, and to give God your praise!
